Ending spread of AIDS-West Bengal plans to sell condoms through vegetable & pan shops.

Mamata Banerjee who has taken the charge of health department in West Bengal takes care of every thing that had been pending for implementation and one of the pending schemes is going to be followed for implementation and it is selling condoms through vegetable outlets, groceries and pan shops.
Though National AIDS Control Organization (NACO) directive was passed in 2009, the past government failed to implement the inexpensive project of selling condoms through non-traditional outlets.

Mhaske, the old man took oath not to touch money before 22 years, keeps up his promise.

Babanrao Mhaske, a 58 year old man, a farm laborer from Aadas village of Kaij tehsil in Beed district has not even touched the money approximately for the last 22 years.
It is unbelievable that he is a man with difference and he does not want to touch money and keeps up his promise he had taken before 22 years.

Ban lifted on human placental drug PLACENTREX.

Albert David Limited, a Kolkata based drug manufacturing company has resumed its production of its product PLACENTREX extracted from human placenta.(HPE) which has been banned during May of this year.
The ADL has stopped its manufacturing and sales ever since May 30 on the basis of safety of the drug.
The central government banned the Placentrex along with other drugs like cisapride and nimuselide during Feb 2011 and the court allowed the ban from MAY 30.
The placentrex was used for pelvic infection and wound healing.

Sleeping pattern study during pregnancy links the risk of stillbirth

The researchers at University of Auckland have claimed that they have observed the link of having higher risk of stillbirth with sleeping pattern of the women during pregnancy.
