United States prepares for this year’s flu shots as children returns to school

The people in U.S. begin to prepare for having their seasonal flu shots as children in U.S returns to school.
According to CDC, about 5 to 20 percent of the population is affected by flu every year in U.S. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services says that every children above six months to be vaccinated. Already the U.S. vaccine manufacturing companies started their sending of vaccines even by last July and about 155 million doses of vaccines are needed by this year to prevent seasonal flu.
Almost all vaccines for this year are prepared against virus H3N2 and H1N1 virus. Last year the deadly virus H1N1 made the closure of about 1.947 schools and the virus impacted more than 600,000 students.
