The recent report in Australia revealed that children are diagnosed for type 1 diabetes day by day and it is very alarming in nature.
Another study conducted by the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare found that diabetes rates increased significantly between the year 2000 and 2004 and it was stable up to the year 2008 and the other study made by the Institute of Anna Marie waters revealed that the type 1 diabetes is at high than other countries. The same study also hinted that type 1 diabetes among children in Australia remains high than other countries.
Ms. Waters said that diabetes makes a significant worry and burden on families. She added that it not only add burden to the family but also to the health care system. She further added that it is a disease that needs life long treatment and the suffering child has to live for the rest of the life with the disease since diabetes has no cure.
