A new born baby girl abandoned at Rohtak (PGIMS) hospital in Haryana

Rohtak, Haryana: A newborn girl who was admitted to Post Graduate Institute of Medical Science, Rohtak before four days was abandoned by her parents.
The baby girl suffered jaundice and she was premature and pre-term birth baby.
This is the fourt incident in a week time that newborn girl babies are abandoned and the co-patients said that the child’s parents went out saying to purchase food never returned.
However, the doctors said that the condition of the baby girl is stable and satisfactory.

Guinness World Record Holder for the longest to live with a bullet in the head died in his 103

William Lawlis Pace died who is the Guinness World Record holder in the category for living the longest with a bullet in his head.
He died during his sleep on Monday in a Turlock nursing home, Central California. He was 103
Pace was awarded with the Guinness World Record in the year 2006.
Pace accidentally shot in his head in the year 1917 and by his elder brother with a 22 caliber rifle.

Un-developed Embryo removed from the abdomen of 3 month old infant at Madurai

Madurai: A 3 month old infant who was admitted at a private hospital, K.K.Nagar was found to have remaining portions of the un-developed embryo in her abdominal region removed on yesterday.
The infant who found with the abdominal swelling gradually was lastly admitted to a private hospital were she undergone an abdominal scan and found with a mass which was removed by a team of surgeons.

More than 40 million U.S workers under threat of less sleep pattern – CDC

More than 40 million U.S workers do no have enough sleep and they sleep only for about six hours a day and it is estimated that about 30 percent of the country’s civilian workforce – A CDC report says.
Nation Sleep Foundation recommended for seven to nine hours sleep per day and CDC says that workers having six hours sleep would pose a threat to their life and co-workers.

Pune: Yuvraj Singh, returned to the cricket field on 26th evening at Pune who was ill with a rare cancer ‘mediastinal seminoma’ and undergone multiple chemotherapy.

FDA approves GSK’s cancer drug Votrient for soft-tissue sarcoma, outweighing the risks

Washinton: Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) approved GlaxoSmithKline’s (GSK) cancer drug Votrient for treating patients suffering from soft-tissue sarcoma.
Votrient will be first new treatment for the rare type of cancer in the past ten years.
Votrient is already in the U.S market used for kidney cancer and subtype soft-tissue sarcoma before chemotherapy.
Votrient was already recommended by an agency advisory panel in March which recommended it after seeing the drug’s benefit outweighing the risks.
A specific study made on Votrient showed progression-free survival of 4.6 months compared with 1.6 months on …

Delhi High Court issued orders to N.D.Tiwari to undergo DNA test.

The Delhi High Court on Friday ordered that veteran Congress leader N.D.Tiwari should undergo DNA test and to be compelled if necessary to give blood samples to complete the DNA test.
