Ace Combat 7 Coming to Xbox One and PC

Bandai Namco today confirmed the Ace Combat 7 Xbox One and PC release.

Announced for PS4 at the 2015 PlayStation Experience, Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown will take flight on Xbox One and PC when it's ready for release.

Ace Combat's trademark photorealistic visuals being developed by the Bandai Namco's Tokyo in-house developer, Project Aces.

First the so-called November Update, released in November 2015, and then the Anniversary Update, released in August 2016. Since there will be no more security updates for it, the clients are advised to switch to a newer version of the system.

There's no release date yet.

Sunao Katabuchi, who wrote Ace Combat 4 and 5, is penning the script for the seventh game. Beautifully rendered cloud-filled skies and highly detailed cityscapes enhance the sense of unparalleled speed and set the stage for the most engaging aerial battles in the franchise's storied 20 year history. Aces who have proven their aerial combat prowess in ACE COMBAT 7: Skies Unknown's campaign mode can take their dogfighting skills online for furious online multiplayer battles. If you have PlayStation VR, Ace Combat 7 includes VR missions that "provide unprecedented flight immersion". The title had previously only been marketed as coming to the PS4 with emphasis on its VR capabilities and had been heavily showcased at PlayStation events like PSX, so this comes as a welcome surprise for Ace Combat fans on other platforms.
