Steve Harvey Met With Donald Trump, Twitter Certifies His Cancellation

Steve Harvey says he wants to work on affordable housing in Chicago with Ben Carson after meeting Friday with Donald Trump in NY.

Harvey said he also met with Uncle Ben Carson and is planning to help out cities like Chicago and Detroit.

At one point Harvey joked about the Trumps being on Family Feud against either the Obamas or the Clintons (a premise SNL played with last year).

"It was a really cool meeting in the beginning. So we'll see what I can do", said Harvey in the lobby of Trump Tower.

President-elect Donald Trump and Housing Secretary-designate Ben Carson spoke with entertainer and talk show host Steve Harvey on Friday to discuss an effort by the incoming administration to seek positive changes in USA inner cities. The comedian said Cheeto Jesus was "sincere" and said he was called in to discuss helping inner cities. Carson was born and mostly raised in Detroit. He said the meeting was just him "following orders" from his friend Barack Obama.

When asked about Trump's pick for Attorney General, Jeff Sessions, who has been criticized for his work against civil rights, Harvey said "I don't really like commenting on stuff I don't really understand or know about".

"So I stepped from behind my microphone and I came and talked to the guy that is going to be the 45th president of the United States", Harvey said.
