Serena Williams dances in her underwear

In Melbourne, Djokovic, seeded two, will be hoping to show he's back to his best after a period of sustained dominance abruptly ended past year after the French Open.

Serena Williams has played two matches in the 2017 season and is fresh off a three-set loss to Madison Brengle. The 19 year old Swiss tennis star suffered some setbacks during 2016, but she is by no means your typical teenager on tour.

Eugenie Bouchard has struggled for form and fitness in the last couple of years - most notably following a locker-room fall at the 2015 US Open that saw her suffer concussion.

WOMENSerena Williams' next Grand Slam would be her 23rd, which would move her past Steffi Graf on the all-time list.

There clearly was a reason behind this, with Williams insisting her mindset in Melbourne was only on the sport which she said was her "life".

Simona Halep headlines this part of the women's draw and the fourth seed will be aiming to make her first semi-final appearance at the Australian Open.

If you didn't know, the 35-year-old and the tech entrepreneur announced their surprise engagement in December!

Speaking on Saturday, Murray said: "I'm more than happy just being Andy".

"I'm sure that that's going to be motivation for her, not liking to see another name up there".

'I wouldn't call it anger, but I would definitely say it's drive and focus.

Kerber, 28, came back from a match point down against Japan's Misaki Doi to go on and win her first grand slam.

The six-time champion played down the attention on the record, saying she was "just here to play and win".

She could potentially then meet her US Open conqueror Karolina Pliskova in the semi-finals.

If both players progress, Kerber could face French Open champion Garbine Muguruza in the quarter-finals.

In the last 17 months, she has faced eight of the nine other top-10 players, beating them all apart from world No. 1 Angelique Kerber. "I still don't think it's a bad idea to interview a player after a first set or after a second set".

"I still think back about this match", she said in Melbourne on Thursday. "I haven't even really thought about it (the wedding) much to be honest". Williams will face the most talented non-seeded player at the Australian Open in the first round and could have a very hard time in the 2nd round as well. The Canadian is enjoying a resurgence of sorts after her sophomore slump but has never made it past the third round in Melbourne. "I believe if I play my best tennis then I'll have a chance to win and it's one I'd love to win because there have been so many near misses".

The Melbourne tournament will be Murray's first since being knighted in the New Year's Honours list, and his first as world number one since he toppled Novak Djokovic late last year. If I can play the way I've been practicing, it will be fine, ' assured Williams.
