There are still a few holiday remnant deals from two retailers covering most of the Xbox One S consoles on the market. Since the numbers don't lie, let's find out what exactly happened and why 2017 will be the year for Xbox. With that lineup, it's hard to dispute Xbox's potential for a huge year, possibly even enough to outsell PlayStation 4. The selections include two Xbox One games, as well as two Xbox 360 titles. This Xbox One title originally retailed for $39.99 and it is available from January 16 through February 15. Nonetheless, it turned out to be a downer to some fans since the Xbox One S and expectedly the Project Scorpio has one. Plus, with Microsoft still not ruling out backward compatibility for original Xbox titles, there's plenty of reason to consider the Xbox One over PlayStation 4 in 2017.

You may have purchased the most powerful gaming console in the world right now, the Sony PS4 Pro, but this does not entitle you to the best gaming experience around. While the PS4 Pro does offer 4K upscaling support for 4K TVs, many gamers were still disappointed by the omission.

Several months after Xbox One and PlayStation 4 was released, it was clear that Sony's flagship was dominating in the console wars; especially with all of its already-established ardent fans. According to Destructoid, Microsoft's sale prices are comparable to the discounts they had for Black Friday and Cyber Monday earlier this year.

For those looking to get the Xbox One S, it is considered to be the most worthy to invest on, according to Tech Times.

If you had a different Xbox One S bundle in mind to buy, your other best option is the Microsoft Store. PS4 gamers can not do this and so gamers can not customize Batsuits and such. However, if the hardware and feature lineup lives up to the hype, it will give Xbox a much-needed boost through the second half of the year, and help drive strong Xbox sales through the holiday.

The year is about to end and it appears that the final quarter of 2016 has shown bright stature for Microsoft Xbox One as the platform has had outsold its prime competitor, Sony PlayStation 4 for three consecutive months (September, October and November).
