Reports also said that Bethesda's Pete Hines said the studio has more plans prior to anything in relation to "The Elder Scrolls 6".

"The Elder Scrolls 7" is an idea that many have come to love along the way, though it seems as if the wait may be quite a prolonged one to note.

New possibilities have surfaced for "The Elder Scrolls 6" as per a gaming analyst.

And there you have it.

Lockheed Martin CEO promises Trump she'll cut F-35 costs
This is the second time the President-elect has sparked a Lockheed Martin stock wobble of millions this month. The president-elect, however, told members of the press that he was concerned over the F-35's price tag.

Fortunately, Bethesda marketing boss Pete Hines has announced that works on Elder Scrolls Online and "Skyrim Special Edition" wouldn't impact or hurt the development of the sequel "The Elder Scrolls 6". "Whenever the next Bethesda game comes, I'm buying it". However, Hines' tweet did not confirm that Elder Scrolls IV will never happen at all.

However popular games analyst Michael Pachter, who, in an annual feature by GamesIndustry, where he and other analysts are invited to make predictions for the coming year, predicted that The Elder Scrolls 6 would launch in 2017.

For what it's worth, Pachter has a pretty solid track record when it comes to making predictions, as is also noted in the aforementioned article, but when it comes to this one, well, there may be reasons to doubt that this particular prediction will pan out.

That hasn't stopped speculation about the game from running rampant, however, and because of the earlier Fallout 4 turnaround time, some well-known industry insiders have been projecting a 2017 release date for The Elder Scrolls 6. This is because of Bethesda's confirmation about Elder Scrolls VI, as the company's designer Todd Howard said that the game is a "very long ways off". Others are predicting a 2017 target release date. The only thing that is clear for now is that it may take a while before the game's development. Fans can only hope the company will announce a new update for the game, maybe a new timeline for Elder Scroll VI's development.
