"Star Wars: Episode 8" is the continuation of the "Star Wars" saga, reignited with the release of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens".

For an epic of galactic proportions, it might come as a surprise that the entirety of Star Wars canon takes place in less than a century. While few at Lucasfilm would even pretend that The Star Wars Holiday Special fits into the official mythology, fans have placed it as happening one year after the 1977 movie. The trademark was to be used for a long list of items imaginable like toys, costumes, gadgets, and ball point pens. Furthermore, the title "Forces of Destiny" has a ring to it, especially that one could argue fans might get to see how Rey's destiny unfolds, or how Kylo Ren fares for that matter.

There are endless pieces of collectible artwork paying tribute to Star Wars, but there are always some that stand out from the rest of the pack. In story terms, there are 19 years between that movie and the original 1977 Star Wars (AKA Episode IV: A New Hope). I could probably ask, but Rogue One is out in like a week, so I guess we'll let that come out, be unbelievable, let people respond to that first. Hopefully something will be shown there?

First, 2017's Star Wars Celebration will be held in Orlando April 13-16. (Remember: The Force Awakens set records for people watching its trailers alone.) Cinamablend asked Adam Driver what he thought about that all-but-assured marketing campaign.

Nearly a year before "Star Wars: Episode 8" hits theaters, the film creators still do not have any title for the new "Star Wars" sequel. I'd love it, yeah. Then no one would know anything.

"Star Wars: Episode 8" will make its way to theaters on December 15, 2017.
