It is exactly a year to the day after Sheeran took a break from the internet and pretty much dropped out of sight.

"Fans who have endured a whole year of Sheeran's radio silence are obviously on tenterhooks awaiting further news - with one fan asking: "'I JUST WOKE UP, WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?'

The "Thinking Out Loud" singer uploaded a blue box across his various social media platforms - Instagram, Twitter and Facebook all feature the the same image - with no caption attached, making for a cryptic post.

Writing on his Instagram account a year ago, the singer explained he was "taking the opportunity of not having to be travel the world".

Naturally fans, who have waited an entire 12 months for this weird blue moment, totally lost their sh*t. Here's hoping that's album news and not some weird birthday greeting. Before the final show, he also tweeted that he was "buggering off for a while".

Family of teen who killed herself after bullying still targeted
Jackie and her family say bullying is indeed to blame, though they always thought Brandy "brushed it off and didn't care". Raul said his family would pursue justice no matter how long it took. "And I will for years".

BBC reported that songwriter, Amy Wadge has been working on the album with Ed Sheeran, including the song, "Thinking Out Loud".

Meanwhile, the singer worked on the new X Factor single with Wadge, sung by 2016's victor Matt Terry.

Out of all of Ed Sheeran's albums, the 2017 studio record will be his third after + and X. The scenes were shot at his tow sold-out Croke Park gigs in July 2015.

Some fans speculated that the blue image was a clue about Sheeran's next album.
