Less than a month after Beauty And The Beast's first trailer broke the record for most views in 24 hours a record that was previously held by 50 Shades Darker-Fate Of The Furious has burst into the running with a jacked-up muscle vehicle and smashed the record once again. The title was previously held by the "Beauty and the Beast" trailer which came out last month.

Following a 15-second tease days earlier that also revealed the new title, the trailer debuted via a live event in New York City, during which the cast and crew appeared to discuss what fans could expect from the first peek at The Fate of the Furious.

The action packed trailer shows something that no one would have expected. Academy Award victor Charlize Theron (Mad Max: Fury Road) plays the mysterious woman who turns Dom against his family - including his wife, Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) - and brings him back into the world of high-stakes crime that he and everyone he cares for have been trying to escape.

The officer in charge told Reuters the Santa Claus costumes were employed to help boost the raid team's element of surprise. The four suspects were placed at the disposal of the Joint Provincial Prosecutor of Condevilla in Comas.

The preview which brings the Fast and Furious family back to the big screen, shows the main character Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) turn into the villain after betraying his family during a heist.

Prior to the premiere of the first trailer, Universal Pictures also unveiled a worrying teaser poster for "The Fate of the Furious".

The film is directed by F. Gary Gray (Straight Outta Compton) and produced by returning producers Neal Moritz, Michael Fottrell and Diesel.
