Take down drones up to 2km away

It may look like something used in a sci-fi flick to take down scary aliens but this real-life drone gun is actually pretty gentle.

The Company has developed the pre-eminent drone detection solution that protects people, organisations and critical infrastructure from intrusion from drones.

ASX-listed DroneShield is looking to grab a major share of what it sees as a future multi-billion dollar market for devices that can detect and re-direct potentially unsafe drones - for instance, sending them back to their on-ground "pilot". Since many drones are created to safely land if they lose signal, they should land smoothly right there on the spot. The DroneGun has a 2KM range and can work in varied environmental conditions.

Shaped like an extravagant laser-tag rifle, the Dronegun hooks up to a backpack and when adequately aimed, blasts the drone with electromagnetic noise at the same frequencies it uses for video transmission and control communications.

The drone isn't destroyed and can be retrieved for investigation if needed. This device is not, and may not be, offered for sale or lease, or sold or leased, in the United States, other than to the United States government and its agencies, until such authorization is obtained.
