By waiting until the Rumble, WWE is saving Goldberg for a far bigger stage while also allowing him more time to train in the ring.

POLL: Who would you like to see debut at Survivor Series on Sunday?

There are several other components to consider, including the possibility of him being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame over Wrestlemania 33 weekend.

Former WWE superstar Goldberg stunned most of the fans on Sunday in "Survivor Series" with a quick win against Brock Lesnar.

On the other hand, fans seem to be slightly tiring of seeing Brock Lesnar predictably decimate opponents with a series of German suplexes (and hard elbows to the face). Brock Lesnar reportedly saw a feud with Goldberg as a money-making opportunity, per the report - something WWE chairman Vince McMahon reportedly agreed with. "When Bill agreed to stay the idea was, "let's book the match to get Bill over". Goldberg said, "So you bet your ass I've got one more title run left in me!" So we kind of already know, what is going to happen, right.

Mayor resigns after racist Michelle Obama post
On Monday, November 14, in the East Room of the White House, First Lady Michelle Obama speaks at a celebration for Joining Forces. Thousands of social media users decried the post's racism , but Whaling commented that Taylor had "just made my day".

World Wrestling Entertainment's (WWE) fans had waited for this contest since over a decade. Goldberg will continue to promote the Royal Rumble.

And that challenge proved to be a whimper when Lesnar was defeated in just 84 seconds for what turned into a beating for the Beast Incarnate. It is believed that the issue hinders him from competing in a much longer match. Kalisto from SmackDown will challenge Raw's The Brian Kendrick for the Cruiserweight Championship while SmackDown's The Miz will defend his Intercontinental title against Raw's Sami Zayn.

Also, Raw already has the United States championship that is now held by Reigns.

He said: "I think at this time in my career, the best way to take [Lesnar] down was shock and awe, to do something that nobody would expect against a monster like that".
