Assistant prosecutor Ingrid Isgren and Swedish police inspector Cecilia Redell will again be present at the interview.

Prosecutors said no decision on Julian Assange file would be taken at the end of the interview Monday.

Swedish authorities visited Assange today looking for information relating to an allegation of a serious sexual offence made against the computer programmer. He has not been indicted.

It is believed Assange was "fully cooperative" during their initial meeting on Monday. He was represented by a lawyer from Ecuador. "An Ecuadorian lawyer has taken up this question as a formal issue in the introduction of the hearing". After spending roughly 90 minutes together the pair made a brief statement to reporters. "We hope the investigation will be closed then", he added.

The Obama administration said it was confident Russian Federation was behind the hacks, and Ecuador temporarily cut off Assange's Internet access in the embassy in response to his activities.

The Australian, 45, took refuge in August 2012 after United Kingdom authorities granted a Swedish extradition request.

Assange had continued to operate WikiLeaks from the embassy.

The 45-year-old Australian has refused to go to Sweden for questioning, saying that would expose him to further extradition to the United States, where a criminal investigation into the publication of secret documents by WikiLeaks continues. Assange denies the allegations. Assange allegedly demanded to have unprotected sex with each of the women, despite their insistence that he use condoms.

One woman claims Assange sabotaged a condom and forced her down during intercorse while a second woman alleged he had sex with her - without a condom - while she was sleeping.

The results of the questioning by an Ecuadoran prosecutor, which began on Monday, will not be provided immediately as the matter still "subject to confidentiality", the Swedish prosecutor's office said in a statement.

"The question we have to ask is why have the Swedish prosecutors taken so long to come here and ask him those questions, even though they were rebuked way back in 2014 by the Swedish courts for the delays and hesitations". He has not been indicted or charged but is the subject of an worldwide arrest warrant.

Isgren entered and left the embassy through a police cordon as a large media contingent and about 20 Assange supporters waited outside the Knightsbridge address next to the exclusive Harrods department store. This is an intramural scrimmage.

In 2010, an worldwide arrest warrant was issued for Assange who surrendered to British police and was freed on bail, before he moved into the Ecuadorean Embassy in London in June 2012, putting him out of reach of British authorities.

The president-elect said during his campaign, "I love WikiLeaks", reveling in the organization's release of Hillary Clinton's hacked emails.
