Nation reacts to Trump win, APIs voted overwhelmingly for Clinton

President-elect Donald Trump finally met with editors and reporters at the influential New York Times newspaper on Tuesday, one of the most highly-regarded media instutions in the United States. Trump has avoided a public press conference since the election. There are sporadic reports of violence from protesters, including vandalism in Portland and Oakland according to the Washington Post.

As for President-elect Trump's meeting with The New York Times, I'm sure the self-described "paper of record" was trying to smooth things over with Trump, and gloss over its unrelenting negative coverage of his campaign.

Here's a talking point for Hillary Clinton supporters as they prepare for intrafamily political battles around the turkey this year: Her count in the popular vote continues to best Donald Trump's-and her lead is on par with other former presidential nominees who actually won the White House.

It was a set of facts that fueled money-for-access allegations that Trump leveled against Clinton on the campaign trail.

There is yet another theory relating to Trump's triumph; and this one hasn't been mentioned by many commentators; and it fascinates me, so I'll briefly focus on it. If dedicating one's life to the idea that all Americans should have a share in the pursuit of liberty, freedom and the chance to achieve one's dreams, I'll be there.

Many are asked for additional voter identification, are segregated from other voters, and have to use polling locations without any available language assistance.
