Not too late to deny Trump the presidency

The Republican businessman who defeated Democrat Hillary Clinton this month in one of the most divisive presidential elections in modern times actually made five separate trips to ME during his campaign, including to Lisbon just 11 days before the election. Of course, the political elites that are dissatisfied with the outcome of the United States vote may find two or three people, who will do something, but this is pretty much it.

Clinton has garnered 64,223,958 votes, compared to Trump's 62,206,395 votes. Today, he calls it "actually genius" and also claims that he would have won the popular vote had he campaigned differently. The victorious Bush, however, carried 30 states to 20 from Gore and won the Electoral College by five votes.

The same thing happened in 2000, when then Democratic nominee Al Gore won the popular vote by almost 544,000 but lost to former president George W. Bush on electoral votes. If 21 electors abstain from voting altogether, Trump could be prevented from winning.

Certainly racism, sexism, and overall voter dissatisfaction coursed through this election, but it's hard to look at the graph below without thinking of the sexism it represents. Not stopping there, Scarborough used an odd comparison when speaking about the Trump election win.
