India submitted a report and the health ministry on Friday said that there are no cases of total drug-resistant tuberculosis (TB). This report was followed by the declaration of total drug resistant tuberculosis cases by P.D.Hinduja hospital.
Following the report of the hospital, the government organized a central team comprising senior medical officer, Central TB division; consultant (drug resistant TB) including national programme officer (laboratory) and the team went to Mumbai on Tuesday.
