Burdwan, West Bengal: Following the death of 13 babies, new 4 deaths at B.C.Roy memorial hospital from Thursday and 12 newborn deaths occurred at Burdwan Medical College and hospital raised the total death to 29 from yesterday.
The hospital superintendent Tapas Kumar Ghosh of Burdwan hospital said that one to three days babies referred were underweight and suffering from jaundice, septicemia and encephalitis.

A new research has found the reason behind the potentially dangerous blood infection from their implanted cardiac devices.
It is found that patients who have the implants may develop infection because of a biofilm of persistent bacterial bugs on the surfaces of their devices. Researchers have found some strains of bacteria like staphylococcus aureus have certain genetic variangs in the proteins on their surfaces that make them more likely to form these biofilms.
